Introduction

Virex II 256 is a high level disinfectant for disinfection of surfaces and critical instruments (which come in contact with the blood stream or normally sterile areas of the body, such as rigid and flexible surgical instruments) in healthcare application.

Composition

  • Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride : 8.7%
  • n-alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride : 8.19 %

Directions for use

  • Intrument Disinfction : Use 10 % solution (100 ml in 1 litre) l
    • High Level Disinfection – Soak completely inside the Virex II 256 solution. For semi-critical instruments disinfection, 30 minutes of contact time is required. l
    • Sterilisation – For sterilization 10 hours of contact time is required. Avoid bubble formation. Use a plastic recipient and this should be closed during all the time instruments are soaked in . Take off the instrument and rinse with sterile wate or 0.9 % NaCl solution in sterile water.
  • Surface Disinfection :
    • Opeation Theatres and Critical care areas – Use 0.4 % solution ( 4 ml in 1 litre of cold water). Wash floors and other tiled surfaces taking care to cover corners and other inaccessible areas.

Storage,handling and disposal

Store in original closed containers. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Remove and wash contaminated clothing and footwear before re-use. Avoid breathing vapours or spray mists. Introduction-  Softcare Med Plus is an alcohol rub, developed for hand disinfection. The product is suitable for application in the healthcare area. Soft care Med Plus has chlorhexidine digluconate that provides residual sanitizer.

Composition

  • 1-propanol : 50 %
  • 2-propanol : 20 %
  • Chlorhexidine digluconate Glycero : 0.5 %

Directions for use – Thoroughly clean and dry hands with a suitable hand cleanser such as Soft care Sensisept or Soft care Plus before applying Soft care Med Plus.

  • Hygienic hand disinfectant- Apply 3 ml ( 2 shots from spray pump or 3 shots from touch free dispenser) of It to dry hands and massage thoroughly into the skin paying particular attention to finger tips, the nails and webs of the fingers. After 30 seconds, Soft care Med Plus evaporates leaving the skin dry and soft.
  • Surgical Hand Disinfection- Apply 5 ml ( 3 shots from spray pump or 3 shots from touch free dispenser) of It to dry hands and forearms and massage thoroughly into the skin as above. Once dry, repeat the procedure until a contact time of 3 minutes us reached.

Storage, handling and disposal

Soft Care Gel is an alcohol rub, developed for hand sanitization. The product is suitable for application in the healthcare and food processing area.

Key Properties – It is a skin sanitizer based on isopropyl alcohol. This is a very efficient sanitizer, highly effective against resident and transient skin micro organisms, such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. The product has been formulated with thickener, generating higher viscosity and resulting in longer product-skin contact time and consequently better performance. In addition it contains emoluents, providing skin care. Soft Care Gel is especially suitable for hygienic and surgical hand sanitization. Directions for use

Thoroughly clean and dry hands with a suitable mild hand cleanser, before applying Soft Care Gel

a) Hygienic hand sanitization Apply 3 ml (2 to 3 shots from the dispenser) of it to clean dry hands and massage thoroughly into the skin, paying particular attention to fingertips, the nails and webs of the finger. After 30 seconds, Soft Care Gel alcohol evaporates leaving the skin dry and feeling soft and smooth.

b) Surgical hand sanitization Apply 5 ml (4 shots from the dispenser) of it to clean, dry hands and forearms and massage thoroughly into the skin as above. Once dry, repeat the procedure one more time.

Directions for use –
